Business owners who contact us
When you fill in the form on this website, we collect your name, phone or WhatsApp number, business name, business type, area and how your customers pay. We use these only to contact you about your enquiry, set up your trial and run your account. We do not sell them.
Customers who join a shop’s club
When you tap or scan a Sanbraa stand at a shop, the shop collects your name, phone number and, if you choose, your birthday. Sanbraa stores this for the shop and records your visits and rewards. The shop is responsible for the messages it sends you; Sanbraa processes your data on the shop’s behalf.
- You only receive messages from shops you joined.
- Reply STOP to any message to stop messages from that shop.
- We never share your number with other shops or sell it.
Who we share data with
We use trusted providers to run Sanbraa: SMS delivery partners, payment providers (for business subscriptions), and cloud hosting. They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
How long we keep data
We keep enquiry details for up to 12 months if you don’t become a customer. We keep account and club data while the account is active, and delete it within 90 days after it is closed, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can object to marketing. Email privacy@sanbraa.com and we will reply within 21 days. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and stored with access limited to staff who need it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
